Our story

Ling began the way most good seed businesses do: in the field, not the office. Our family has grown kangkung (water spinach) on the fertile plains around Surabaya and Gresik for generations, first for local markets, then for the wholesalers who kept asking for more — and asking for it more consistently. PT Lintas Indo Natural Group was formed to take that generational know-how and turn it into a seed supply that a distributor on the other side of the world could rely on, shipment after shipment.

East Java’s equatorial climate is the quiet advantage behind every sack we pack. Consistent warmth and humidity let kangkung seed mature naturally, without forcing growth through excess chemical input. Our seed lines — three broad-leaf Bambu varieties and three L-series lines from narrow to jumbo leaf — were selected over successive harvests for germination strength, uniform bunching, and resistance to common pests and fungal disease.

Quality control happens close to the source. Every batch is hand-graded and cleaned before packing, checked for moisture content and purity, and sealed for transit — the same process our team runs on the warehouse floor in Gresik, batch after batch, so a buyer in Taipei or Ho Chi Minh City receives exactly the seed we tested.

We work with a network of smallholder farmers across East Java, paying fairly and buying consistently, so that the same families who taught us to read a kangkung field are still the ones growing our seed stock today. That relationship is what lets us promise a 25–30 day harvest window and ≤10% moisture content on every 35kg bulk sack, whether it’s a sample order or a full 40′ FCL container.

Today, Ling exports to wholesale buyers, distributors, and commercial farms across Taiwan and Southeast Asia, with a growing number of enquiries from further afield as water spinach becomes a mainstream ingredient worldwide. The scale has changed. The standard we hold our seed to hasn’t.
